you can go to any recording place and leave a flyer or a business card with your contact info...
that would be your main network to find someone that is in a studio because there's always someone looking for some beats...
register on ascap
advertise some samples on myspace and whereever you can showcase your musical skills.
you just have to hustle and advertise just like you was selling a product.

myspace...lots of people, and music fans not to mention, all in one space. and theres even a whole section dedicated to music..what more could you ask for? also preform in local venues aka coffee shops!
