There really is no way to know. Sounds like you are very close but it could still be another month. Your body is preparing but when, who knows. Nobody can answer that not even doctors.

I am curious why the doctor had you hooked up to a monitor. Also how often are you going in to see your doctor.? From what you wrote you have been seeing him every other day recently. Anyway what you should be doing is relaxing and enjoying the last few weeks or days you have before a life time of responsiblites being a mother. It is also better for the baby if you are relaxed and not stressing on when it is going to be born. You will definitly know when it is time and will have plenty of time to get to the hospital. Once the pains start coming every five minutes then it is time to take a quick shower and get to the hospital. Any time sooner than that is not necessary. What did your doctor tell you about the small contractions that you were having? Did he tell you to stay in bed and not do any running around? If he didnt he should of. You want to make sure that your baby stays right where it is at as long as possible. Remember every time you start stressing the baby can feel it and right now the little one needs to be relaxed and well rested for the little journey he or she will be making real soon . People forget that it is alot of strain on the babies to be born too not just the mothers. So relax put your feet up , read a good book , get plenty of rest , avoid all stressful situations and all heavy work. If you know how to knit or crochet sit back and make a blanket or something and before you know it the time will come and you will have your baby in your arms but not before he or she should be. Have you dropped yet as in really dropped? Are you also sure you dont have a vaginal infection since you said that your plug was passed two weeks ago and that you are still loosing alittle here and there? You shouldnt be having any discharge or what you consider alittle here and there. What ever the case since you are going in tomarrow to see your OB/GYN explain what you have been feeling and ask him what he thinks and what is causing everything and what you should be doing . Of any one he is the only one that can really tell you what is going on since he is the only one that can physically check you to see what is really going on.

Nothing to fear approximately. Ideally it's pleasant to take the blood strain within the arm with out the IV catheter or INT (that you had due to the fact you had simplest the catheter and no longer the fluid going into it). The vein on the criminal of your elbow is the antecubital vein and that's the discipline you might pay attention to the blood strain however the sound comes from the pulsation of the artery and no longer the vein. There is not any approach he would have injected air into the vein except he acquired an empty syringe, screwed it onto the top of the catheter and inserted it. Most most likely the wors factor that would have happend is that the catheter would cross "dangerous" that means that fluid would no longer receive into the catether and a brand new entry be began. If you're ever within the sanatorium and don't seem to be cozy approximately anything that occurred you have got the correct and are EXPECTED to invite questions. If you're no longer convinced with the reply you get then ask to talk with a supervisor.

I'm due December 7th and going through the same thing. Only I lost my plug at 35weeks on the dot. And I've been having contractions for the last 24hrs (almost to the minute) I'm 1cm dialated.

I think it's safe to say we're both going early! probably in the next two weeks.
