How can I find discounts of items on sale by using a different ways. Is there a easy way to figure out the percentage.

I would think the standard discount was 15% but this calcualation is nearer 16%
Divide the smaller number by the larger number in this case it's 0.8411 the difference between this number and 1 is the % discount

Discount % = [(Marked Price - Sales Price) / Marked Price] * 100%

Discounted Price = Marked Price - Discount% * Marked Price

219.95 - 185 = X
X / 219.95 = discount percentage.
