causes new enhancements to quality of life.The use of an army employs the less skilled and will reduce the population. Both of these factors cause people to spend today rather than save. Technology creates the perception that life is improving, creating sense of confidence and hope for the future. we spend rather than save. Same thing with those who are in the army or related to said soldiers. There may not be a tomorrow, but there is a promise of glory (ask veterans about this and why they end up disappointed). They spend today. The government loves spending, because it generates business. Business generates the most revenue as they are taxed well.They pay there employees.more taxes.the employees spend.sales tax. businesses make money back to the original taxes..the government will need a new tank to replace the old one that was lost in the last battle. this is the answer that I have got for one of my questions,How much do you think American goverment leaders are honest to their people

Very few winners when weapons are used.

Building weapons does help the economy. BUT, it takes a lot of money to build those weapons. Money that is paid by taxpayers, that could be going to better causes.

American government leaders are as honest as they have to be. It's a "If you don't ask, then we wont tell" policy. Of course they will say one thing to get elected and do another once in office.
