if he is going out with your best friend you are best off to not even dealing with him , you will lose the friend for sure and eventually the boyfreind will be history, plus you dont wanna be his girl if he has a girl now and likes you, Then when you are his girlfriend he may grow tired of you and start liking one of your other friends ......dont bother

what i would do is tell her you like him, then talk things over. Don't back stab her and date him, but ask her if she really cares about him, or if she has somebody else in mind to date. wait awhile and see how everything turns out.
but remeber sisters before misters.

If she is your best friend.. you shouldn't even consider doing this to her... Be friends with him and show him you respect yourself and your friend by not getting together with him...
