MY daughter, lara is 12 and wants to give gifts to her friends or as she calls them her "peeps".I am in no position to buy 20 store bought gifts not as a banker.I would like a good, reuseable handmade gift thats not to complex.I suggested handmade carsds but she already said no.Because everyone else gives her homemade gifts and she never get them anything.Last year she made hot cocoa mix but it was expensive and I would like something affordable. She also decides to do things like this the night before the last day before x-mas break and stress me out when shes up until 11.I am making her do it early this year.If anyone could help that would be great an easy 10 points to the best answer.

Decorate clear glass ornaments with paint, ribbon, glitter, etc.

There are many kits available at craft shops and they don't have to be expensive. Most craft shops like JoAnn's and Rag Shop run 50% off coupons every Sunday, and some stores will honor competitor coupons. They also have free craft idea flyers in the aisles. Have fun with it!

Buy some polar fleece and cut 8 inch strips from it and cut slits about 6 inches long and 1/2 inch apart on the ends to make fleece scarves. Get some fleece that has a plaid pattern because it is hard to cut straight unless you can see lines.

JoAnn's has 40% off coupons in their fliers.

I would suggest a visit to a craft shop and buy beads and earring makings. You and your daughter can use a pair of pliars to make great personalized earrings. If you know certain girls love pink, make beautiful pink earrings. Someone else may love light blue so make light blue. You can buy gold fittings and silver fittings. You can even buy the clip-on earring fittings. Have fun with it and your daughter will love it too!

try doing a hygine thing. herbal bathes, cleansers, and stuff like that. just get the recipie for it, mix it or whatever u have 2 do and put it in a nice spice jar u dont use. the stuff does'nt cost much, even if u have some of it. its cheap and effective. the girls would luv it.
