Yes!! It's cheap, easy and inexpensive!!

I usually buy the brand Vaseline in the little yellow tub and apply that daily to keep my lips soft, You should also exfoliate your lips to shed the dead and dry skin cells.
Do this by applying a small ammount of Vaseline and using a fresh toothbrush to gently brush your lips, Then apply Vaseline again :o)

No. Petroleum jelly should never be used on the lips. It feels like it works when you just apply it, but in realy it dries your lips out and makes the skin on your lips thinner. Not good. Anything petroleum-based is bad for your skin.

yeah, its best at night because you're not eating, out, being seen etc. however, i use a towel on top of my pillow because it's greasy. if my lips are really chapped it has all night to start healing and since no one sees you lol you can put it on the outside of your lips where they really get chapped from like wind and stuff. i love that it stays for a while, helps heal quick, and doesn't sting!

I am sorry guys. But I have to say something. Anything petroleum base does not add moisture to the skin it actually absorbs moisture. It fools you by giving the skin an immediate slick/smooth feeling. But, actually requires you to have to continue reapplying to be able to get that feeling. Allot of people do not know this. So no Vaseline and no chap stick with petroleum base to "ADDRESS" a moisture issue. Unless you don't mind causing the condition to persist. Therefore causing you to be dependent on it. Always having it by your bed or in your pocket. That is not normal to always need to use it. To really adress dry lips. Drink lots of H20.

I used to use it all the time, until I realized Chapstick works just as well. It does work, but it tastes disgusting and it's pretty greasy. I say use it at night as an intensive lip treatment and use regular Chapstick during the day.

Marilyn Monroe used it even on her skin at night to soften and it also will prevent wrinkles. If you can get past the grease go for it. Try wearing it at night. Also use a little apricot scrub on lips if they get to chapped, then apply vaseline if you wish.

It works just as well as chapstick. And for best results, put some on before you sleep too. You'll wake up with softer lips.

Yes. It's inexpensive, it lasts a long time and I would recommend it over chapstick or lip balm anyday.

Yep. It's good for EVERYTHING. I use it sometimes as a mascara too, and a highlighter, to put on your cheekbones to make them stand out more. And also if you want to highlight your eyebrows or moisturize your skin.
