They used to say it was bad now they say there is no evidence of dying your hair effecting the baby. They do say that if you do dye your hair choose one with the least amount of toxins such as that gardier or whatever it's called. Make sure you are in a well ventelated area the fumes can be very harmful for the baby.

I'm almost 18 weeks pregnant and had my hair dyed when I was around 15 weeks. It doesn't harm the baby. You may have an allergic reaction to the dye, it may not take, or you could possibly end up with a crazy color that you didn't intend to have, even if it's the same color you always use. Talk to your stylist before you do any color though, and inform them you are pregnant. If you need more proof that dye doesn't harm the baby just look at all the stylists that have healthy babies and work with and around hair dye, perms, relaxers, and such everyday. The ACOG has done a study on this and actually studied pregnant stylists and pregnant women who dye their hair and found no side effects.

Semi permament colorings are sturdy to apply like loopy coloration and instructions, this manner of dye isn't unfavorable you may placed it on as much as you choose. It would not contrain any peroxid. If ur hair is allready broken i might sugest making use of a conditionin therapy, at the same time with nioxen this might restoration ur hair.

yes you can dye your hair. Do NOT choose a dye that has amonia in it, as the fumes are bad for the baby. Also, during pg, some dyes don't stick to some girls hairs, so it might just be a waste of money. As long as you don't use one that contains Ammonia and stay in a well ventalated area, you'll be fine. good luck.

There's no scientific evidence that links dyes with birth defects. But make sure that you tell your stylist that you are pregnant. For hormonal reasons, your hair may reat differently when you are expecting-leaving you with a color you may not have expected.

It's not that dangerous as long as its in a well ventilated area. I put on a color that didn't show roots (dyed back naturalish) when I found out I was preggy.

It is not harmful to the baby in the early stages of pregnancy as long as you dont breat in to much of it but it dosent take to your hair as well.

I colored my hair while pregnant, my Dr. said it was OK. My son is fine. If you're really worried just get of the scalp highlights.

I tried it while I was pregnant and I had an allergic reaction or something, it itched and burned so bad. Believe me I never tried that again.
