My friend has some Mexican Jumping Beans, and one of them has busted and the little worm is crawling around everywhere. Will the little worm die? How can it survive?

it will most likely spin a silk wall over the hole. i know mine did. however, my nephew left it outside over night and it died.

It is the carpo moth's larva which makes them "jump". The larva stays in the bean until it becomes a moth. Breaking the bean is like breaking a caterpillars cocoon. depending on the stage of the moth it still could live. but if it looks like a worm then it probably will die.
