pros:
1) can keep DVDs as long as one wants, no late fee
2) easier to search for movies online than in the store
3) no need to go to the store, DVDs arrive in mailbox
4) better selection than most rental stores
cons:
1) If you aren't currently renting DVDs elsewhere, netflix account might make you see more movies than you you would otherwise do.
2) wait for the movies to come in the mail. (anti instant-gratification)

I have had netflix for several months now. I always get my movies in the mail the very next day after they receive my returns. They let me know when my new movies have been shipped, and also that they have received the ones I sent back. It's nice to have a confirmation instead of just wondering if they got lost in the mail. So far, I have never had any problems with netflix and can't think of any Cons. It's worth the money if you watch the movies and send them back within a reasonable amount of time, so that you can watch the maximum amount possible each month.

I'm a Netflix fan! One of the pros not mentioned yet is that you can create a buddy page with any friends using Netflix and give and get personal movie recommendations. One of my buddies moved out of state recently and we still have movie discussions through the Netflix list.

Pro: they will send you any movie ever released on DVD. No standing in line at the video store just to find out they don't have the movie looking for. No late fees.
The only con is if you don't use it enough to make it worth the money. For example if you have the 19.95 plan, you need to get about 5 movies a month to make it worth your money. If you will watch that many movies, go for it. It's great!

I love netflix, i have the 3 a month plan, and even if i only see 5 a month, yes it would be cheeper at the rental store, but it is so easy, and you can look for old classics that would be hard to find anywhere else

Netflix is great! No complaints from me. I love the system, avoiding the lines at the movie stores or go out of my way to take a movie back. Not to mention, we lost a movie during our move and they said no problem it happens and sent us our next selection without charging us for the lost one! How fabulous is that?

The only complaints I have heard are from heavy users. If you are one the 3 at a time plan and are trying to get the max (90 per month), you may not be able to do this due to delays. But if you are an avaerage user, you probably will not have a problem.

I love netflix, however about amonth ago, the movies started coming slower and slower, and so I emailed them. I told them that I didnt get netflix to wait a week for them to arrive. They refunded a WHOLE MONTH for free! I was blown away. I love them, and obviously, when you have a problem, they take care of it..

report a movie missing or didn't arrive.do not ask for a replacement and they will send u the next movie in your queue.however after the first disc arrive, watch it and return or u will be billed for it.
you can report up to 4 movies at a time as lost.the 5th will cause a temporary account freeze until all movies r returned.

pros: cheap, quick enough to watch on weekends, we rent four movies for $23 a month, big selection.....movies from way back (we did not think some of the movies we rented were still available).......you can buy cheap previously-viewed movies shipped directly to you and billed to you!
cons: could be quicker!
