In general, I think it is the world we live in that makes me sad. Just turn on the news. Strife, hate and jealousy abounds. War rages. Innocent children are abused and molested. Women are abused,sodomized and raped. People are killed in tragic accidents. People are sick and dying. People (young and old) are hungry. Respected clergymen and politicains lie and cheat. Homes are burglarized. The list goes on....and with that I end on a sad note.

The thought of losing my best friend and husband someday. They are the same people and he is just everything in the world to me. Although I have children, they have their own lives now. I would be devestated if something happened to them.. but my husband is my soul mate.

When a friend or family member is in pain and there is nothing I can do to help them. It rips my heart out to not be able to help them.
