i own a repair shop, and it sounds like it has broken a timing belt on it from what you said it done, and it wont start if that's what happened to it,but there's no way of knowing for sure, you need to have a local mechanic look at it and tell you what he thinks, with no more info to go on than what you provided its hard to say what might have happened to it for sure,i wish i could offer more on it but not enough info to work with ,,good luck,i hope this help,s.

the shaking could be a loose or broken engine mount.the guy who replaced the plugs /wires etc. is honest the different fella has possibly given an identical answer,'replace the engine' and 'won't be able to guarrantee upkeep' to all and sundry who visits his save. if your ash-tray replaced into complete he'd inform you you like a sparkling engine.do no longer see him anymore ,he's a criminal! your overheating at some point and not day after as we talk sounds like a sticky thermostat(they are no longer high priced around $10 - $30) i don't be attentive to what they fee for hard artwork to place in it (i do my very own artwork)
