Part of being a true friend is telling them "hey... you messed up!!"... people look to their friends to help them in their lives... to listen to them... etc... they also gauge their actions by what people closest to them do...
Yes... stand by your friend... but don't condone the action... tell them it was wrong... but you are still their friend...

-- Friends are like butt cheeks... crap comes between them... but they always get back together... LOL...

Do YOU think what they did is wrong?

You can still love someone and tell them that you think they are doing something wrong. You don't have to lecture them or get into an argument. All you have to do is state your position, give 'em a big hug or a smile and let them know that you will remain their friend no matter what they do.

You need to tell them, that they did not do the right thing, and explain to them how you feel. How could you stand by someone, who does something wrong. If you do, then you are just as guilty!

Depends on HOW wrong you think it was and how good a friend! If they think it's right and you think it's wrong, it's probably more in a "grey area." So I'd say you probably stand by them. Meanwhile, if you really think what they did was wrong, you try to make them understand why it was wrong, too.

Your friends for a reason. Like I tell my friends, I wouldn't go to jail for them, but I'd have a kick a$$ time running from the cops. It's always a good thing to stick by your friends unless it's putting you into harms way... if it's not, then why not let them have their way?

It depends on the circumstances. If my friend were to kill someone or commit some kind of crime I would not stand by them but smaller things I probably would.

it depends on what they did. If its something even a little bad stand by them but help them correct their mistakes and help them out to do better.

Give them your opinion and let them know if you don't agree with it. Honesty is the best policy. Explain why you don't agree with what they done and let them know your feelings on the situation.
