I run a mac, and I've tried using proxies but usually they are blocked after I use them once or twice.

For the most part you can't. there is a program called http tunnel. you might try that. It "tunnels" its ways through most filters and the school has no way of blocking it. The free version has a slow connection (roughly dial-up speed) and the $5 a month connection is high speed. See the source link for the program

There are more ways than one to monitor your online activity at school or any large network. (including someone walking behind you and see what you are doing) My suggestion is, stop what you are doing. If you bypass the security your school has placed on internet usage and get caught, you will probably not like the consequences, and neither do your parents.

It's really not worth it.

My spouse and i recommend applying http://www.vpnpower.net to unblock internet sites. I am using their services for more than 2 years without issues.

how about use that time and study? stop playing on the computer and actually do your homework?
