Invalid means your argument is indeed not a valid argument for an issue or a topic. While unsound means that your argument doesn't reflect much on the issue that you are persuading.

unsound i think would be a relative to the argument and maybe not proven facts and invalid i think would be not relevant at all and no factual basis.
