Depends on the relationship.
If you are in a relationship where you take constant physical or emotional abuse, then you're better off single.
If you have the one that you've dreamed of since you were a little kid who when you hug you feel like there's never been anything better, then I would prefer the relationship.
Life isn't about being taken. I find it much better to stay single until you find the perfect person, and then that's when you get the good relationships.

I'm in a relationship with my husband (well, I'm pretty sure I am)...and sometimes I think, ah to be single again. Then reality sets in and I remember "It really sucks to have to date 30 toads to find 1 prince".
I'm sticking with the relationship.

single. im not really into the whole boyfriend thing. but its not like i hate guys or think they have cooties. i think that like half the guys at my school are hott but i wouldnt want to go out with them even if they were the nicest and hottest (hehe) person on earth. im waiting until i am mature enough to handle a stable relationship. and i know for a fact that im soo not ready now. i also believe that dating is to find a person you want to marry. why else would people date? to play with peoples emotions? no its to find someone you truly love and want to spend the rest of your life with.

I've done both and discovered this problem; when you're single you long to be in a lasting relationship, and when you're finally in a lasting relationship, sooner or later, you could almost kill to get out.
In short, neither works more for me.

I like being single. I have a problem with people telling me what to do, when I can do it, etc. So, I stay single, date and never commit.
