Well, the sex disgusts you and you don't feel an emotional connection. Relax, you're straight; lots of people experiment.

From what you say I would normally think that you are on the straight side of bisexual.
BUT
What does your depression have to do with your orientation? Do you think your depression was caused by your sexuality?
You were deeply depressed yet at the same time you were in a great relationship with your gf. So what gives?
You were so depressed that you decided to cheat on your gf with a transgender person? Was this person a prostitute by any chance? If it was just a booty call, say so.
Then I could say, that what you are experiencing now are feelings of guilt.
Please tell me because I feel that there's something else going on here and that you are not telling the full story.
Regards

I think you are sexually very active, experimenting and discovering who you are and what you are all about. If you're happy with this girl then fine. Go for straight. But are you sure you are not still thinking about guys sexually? Be sure.
You are probably on the Kinsey scale at about a 3 -- which means you're bi-sexual. Most people are. See this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinsey_Reports You will understand after you read through this.

Your are either gay, bi, or straight and that is defined by who you are sexually attracted to. Since you say you had only one encounter that you did not even like, that you know you are not gay, and you are involved with someone of the opposite sex I would say that you are straight.

Why do you insist on a label?
I think "Horny" is probably generally accurate. You've had
one homosexual experience, but so what?
Even if you had another one ... so what?
If you generally prefer men to women, then you are certainly gay.
If you generally prefer women to men, then you are certainly not.
If you like to mix it up, well, people will call you bi-.
But c'mon. What's the deal here? Why is the label so
important?

I can not judge you from your experience but considering you have already reached your climax before helping him achieve his does make sex un intersting at this point.
You felt it was safe because it was a shemale to some extent. (my opinion)
Are you attracted to other guys. (it is o.k. if you are)
You might want to seek a psychologist to help you explore futher.
It took me 30 years to come from the closet... (wow, what a feeling it was) The sad thing is that I was married and divorced in the process. (may she forgive me for taking her through this process)

I would call you very inquisitive & curious about things. But if you did it and didn't enjoy it & didn't come back for more, then you're straight, as far as I can discern. Not to worry!

I think you were depressed not gay or bi. You didn't like it, so leave it in your past and move on.
