When I voted today (Bexar County, TX), I noticed a party line button on the electronic voting machine. Was that an option to automatically fill in all the candidates of a given party without looking at them?!?

Yes, I've always had them on mine, Pennsylvania, although before it was a party lever.

Exactly. A lot of older people especially vote purely by party so that simplifies the process for them. They don't even care who the candidates are but let the party decide for them.

I would say yes.

but then I didn't vote in texas and in that state there is the change it means something else.

Cool! That would be a neat feature, as long as all the parties had their own button.

Then they can erase that entry. Call your Board of Elections tomorrow and give them the time and booth you voted from and then ask them to prove that your vote was counted. See what they say and tell them you want real machines.

Yeah, that's how it would work. Our machines didn't have that option. Would've made it so much easier!
