Are people insane? If you voted for Foley last election and have seen how he betrayed not only your vote, but the moral values you voted for him to protect, how in the world could you possibly vote for another republican just because he is republican? Talk about partisan. This man does not even have his name on the ballot. In order to vote for him you have to cast your vote under Foley's name. Tell me again how values matter to you!

What bothers me is the idea that a person can vote for Candidate A (the person listed on the ballot), and their party can instead choose to count that is if you had voted for Candidate B (the replacement).

Seems to defeat the entire concept of voting, if the person you cast your vote (according to the ballot) for isn't the person who your vote is counted towards.
