i would also consider moving out of your boeing stock and investing into an index fund. With your whole retirement fund invested in one stock you leave yourself open for disaster. If it were my money i would probably roll it over into Vanguard or TIAA cref funds and invest into a balanced (combination stock and bond) fund with a higher allocation to bonds for security.

Check out the rules for rolling over a 401k, I believe there are some recent changes and if done wrong it can cost you plenty. The same thing applies to borrowing from the 401K, there are limited reasons that borrowing is allowed.
