I dont know what era that shirtwaist factory fire would go into... here are the choices we have: world expansion, WWI, The 1920's or the great depression. please help!? thanks!

Most likely "world expansion". If "industrial revolution" were a topic, that would be a better category. The fire, which killed numerous women and children who worked in near forced labor conditions at the factory, was one of the worst industrial fires of all time.

Actually, the traingle shirtwaist Company Fire incident that happened March 25, 1911 is considered a part of the Rise of Progressivism, or the Progressive Era. Progressive Era was a period of reform which lasted from the 1890s through the 1920s. so, in your case, it is on the 1920s, I believe.
