oh emo means that u like rock, metal and cut urself , see i am a non hardcore emo cause i dont cut myself but i wear gothic clothes and stuff sometimes but its not really a diss

Yes and I am so ill of it. Personally if anybody goes to supply me a label I could are compatible in with both Goths or Metal heads. I imply I get known as an emo ***** and emo slut always. I simply get so ill of it I simply forget about the entire emo feedback

Emotional. Sometimes in an over the edge kind of way. It is a general term that describes many different types of emotional people though. Sometimes I can be emo.

Emo refers to a trend kind of related to goths...emo is short for emotional. Emo people tend to be a bit depressed or always have some kind of trauma in their lives...and there's a whole style that goes along with it.

That you are "dark" and that you show a tendency to be overly emotional and drawn to the pessimistic or negative side of life. OR she could just be commenting on your taste in clothing.
Emo is a punk like style - it in now way indicts white trash or ho-ho-hoyness.

emo is a type of music that is like emotional punk music... the stereotype emo kid is sad about life and cuts his or her wrists and wears black. i guess emo is now a kind of meaningless slang, lik not to be offensive or anything but you hear people calling eachother gay all the time like "youre so gay" it doesnt necessarily mean homosexual

Emo = style like goth, dark dreary outlook on life, very EMOtional about everything, in some cases causes harm to one's self out of EMOtional rage or pain. (ie: cutting, or even asphyxiation as a means of getting 'high')

Its an offshoot of punk and a bad one at that. Its mainly a bunch of depressed preps trying to be suicidal. So your friend was definately insulting you. No offense to any Emos. This is all I really understand of your scene.

An emo is a new group of people associated with sad/self-expressive music. They are the guys you see with long black bangs covering their face, wearing tight pants.
It's just a new fad, and it stands for emotional.
