six to eight months, if you trim it 1/4 inch a month. Keeping the ends cut will make your hair grow faster, get it wet every night! Only was it three time a week. But get it wet every night! Don't blow dry it, don't hot iron it. Use regular curlers. I'm a hair person. Never put heat on your hair. Only the warm water you use to wash it. If you get it wet every night something about the wet hair while you sleep makes it grow. I've got long beautiful hair and i don't use hair spray, or heat of any type i let it dry on it's own if i want wave, or curls i judge the time of the wet hair to almost self dry and then i put curlers in my hair it curls or wave in two hours. So it will take time if you want beautiful healthy hair. My hair is blond and it's very thick and it's almost to my waist.

If your hair is healthy, it should grow about half an inch a month.

I use baby shampoo and it makes my hair longer and thicker right after I wash it. It is also proven it does that for your hair cuz it says it on the back lol ^_^
