Before trying to learn ancient things, you need a well rounded education in preparation. You should focus on anthropology, sociology, and archeology as majors. You may also want to study Hindi or other Indian dialects. So I guess I am suggesting that you should go to college first, and perhaps go to India as an exchange student with a program if you can find one. There are programs in many countries that allow you to study at one of their universities by living with a family and helping to take care of their children.... a nanny.

hi buddy,...
good to know that you wanna come to india to study math , astronomy and music.. you know what, $1200 is more than enough. . if you could tell me where exactly you wanna stay, i can tell you how much it z gonna cost you.. but i'm pretty much sure, you can lead a grande luxurious life for $400 [ much less than this as well] a month..but one thing, don t trust any brokers or third party consultants who might tell ya that they can find you a good place to stay.. me from bangalore and working for a US hardware company. I'm payin a rent of $130 for a double bedroom individual house.. yu can also find other houses much less than this with good amenities.. it depends on where you want to stay.. a large family pizza would cost you around $2. 1 ltr milk would cost you around $0.30 .. itz inexpensive here in India.. don't you worry, coz ur budget is really high
