Check your battery connections Take them off the battery and physically look at them. Clean them with a wire brush if it's a side post battery. With a battery terminal brush if it's top post.
Then try to jump it. You didn't say a make or year or what engine so I can't tell if you have a voltmeter in your car. If you don't get a multimeter from a friend and check the voltage at the battery. If all is good you have a stuck starter solenoid. Locate the starter and have someone turn the key like they're trying to crank the engine. You or someone else hit the starter or solenoid with a hammer. It might start up. If it does You need a starter. And If it doesn't you probably still need a starter. Provided you checked the battery voltage and it's good.

i own a repair shop, and i think you might have a bad connection at the solenoid switch at the starter on it,you need to make sure all the cables from the battery are clean and clear of corrosion and also make sure the solenoid wires are on real good, this will make a big difference in starting it,if all this is good and the cables touch real good it should start if not you may need to replace the solenoid Switch on the starter ,then it has to start ,,good luck i hope this help,s.

Sounds like a problem with power getting to the starter. I would check the battery cables and connections at the battery and the starter and clean if nesessary.

Have the battery checked. Or hook a battery you know is good to the battery cables and try to start the car. If it still only clicks it could be your starter, or starter cylinoid.

Check and clean battery post's. Starter may be damaged. Also, try grounding the starter with a large screwdriver from the starter positive connection. (Consult a good yard mechanic)

Battery... you are getting "juice" to the starter but not enough. Take the battery to Checker, they will check it. If the battery isn't dead then your alternator may be failing to send a full charge to it.

Just off the top of my head, I'd say either your alternator or your starter are shot.

make sure the battery terminals are perfectly clean and then try jumping again.

you could have a loose wire on your starter or it could be your solenoid.
