I haven't read that one yet, but I can recommend:

1) The Five Love Languages: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate

2) His Needs, Her Needs: Building an Affair-Proof Marraige

I believe both of these have worksheets in the back to help you each determine your love langauge and what your top needs are. You can also purchase workbooks to go along with them.

We read these while we were engaged. I think they helped us to understand each other better and avoid a lot of the potential pit-falls and conflicts couples face once they are married.

It helps in some sence, but at the same time it gets them more confused. Once they read it, they often decide, 'Oh, now I know what it all means" and stop thinking for themselves.

At least, it explained to me what's the deal with men and watching sports on TV. I'm no longer irritated by it, as long as it doesn't take all of his free time.

I rarely like pop psych books but this one is actually quite good. The points it makes would be very helpful to couples if they really used them.
