I am pretty young but I have been having periods for at least 7 years. I just am kind of worried because I have been feeling really bad, and I usually feel bad but never this bad on the fourth day :(

Honey, just because it is the fourth day of your period doesn't mean you not going to experienc cramps even pretty intense ones. some people even get cramps before their period or after it all just depends on your body. everyone is different. but i can say that midol is my best friend when that time comes. if things are really bad your doctor might perscribe birth control to help things a little bit!!

I do. Take midol or some other kind of muscle relaxant for a day or two before your period to prevent it. Take more if you feel it coming on again.
Try a heating pad or hot shower or bath, which will also help to relax your muscles.
Going on birth control can also decrease the amount of cramps and PMS symptoms.

I had those same exact kind of periods. Heating pads don't work, and the cramps suck. Try aleve that was the thing that worked for me and calling in sick and using pads cause I seemed to have worse cramps with using tampons.

Not knowing your age, it's possible you have endometriosis. Have your GYN check for that. Otherwise there are medications you can take to decrease the amount of pain. You might also have overian cycsts. If the pain really persists, go to the ER. I'm sorry you're dealing with this.

possibly an ovarian cyst? any chance of bowel issues like constipation? glad you are going to the doctor. if you start experiencing light-headedness, with the nausea (vomiting), the cyst may have ruptured... not good. please don't panic, just make sure you go to your appointment.
