Lat night i saw him use a broken payphone to call his mother. So I'd say he has the power of no toll charges...or maybe he can program VCRs from a distance...

It is telekenetic. he has the power to make machines work with his mind. In otherwords he needs no electricity. He used a broken telephone by willing it to work. I imagine that is what you get when your mother can will hereself super strength and your dad can will himself to penetrate solid matter. His mind can make broken things mend themselves long enough for him to use them. No repairs necessary either.
