If I wanted to put in some cheat codes for "Grand Theft Auto - Liberty City Stories" for PS2 at http://www.mofunzone.com/game_cheats/playstation_2_cheats/grand_theft_auto_liberty_city_stories.shtml it says that "Some of the codes cannot be disabled, and may screw up your game savegames. Consider yourself warned" Does it ruin the game or just not save? If I were to clear the memory card would everything go back to normal?

thats cool a girl playing grandtheft auto, i get my codes at gamefaq.com and the codes dont really save but some do, like weapons cheat, but u have to wait until you die for the people to stop rioting and attcking, get used to doing the weapons cheats

As with all Grand Theft Auto games, cheating is not reccomended. if you USE A CHEAT AND THEN SAVE YOUR GAME then you are screwed, you probably will never be able to get 100% completion and theres like a 90% chance your saved games will get erased. I used cheats and got really far in grand theft auto and my brother-in-law even had a save file and one day they were just gone. so dont cheat and save your game. ALTHOUGH IF YOU ENTER CHEATS JUST TO MESS AROUND THEN DONT SAVE, AND JUST QUIT THE GAME/ TURN OFF SYSTEM BEFORE YOU SAVE THEN YOU CAN USE CHEATS. also your rating goes down when you cheat, so basicaly dont cheat if you plan on saving the game and acually completing the game.

click on your system on the left, then pick the first letter of the game then find it in the list.

My answer is it ruins the game it doesn't stop you from saving what it means is that when you put them codes in and then save the game the cannot be taken off! BUT if you clear the card of those saved games then everything will go back to normal!

http://cheatcc.com is a good one.
And yes they mess up tour game. But not that much all it does is sometimes the buildings dissapear, but they come back if you get a little closer. So I use them all the time and that happens like every week. So its not that dangerous.

yes it will ruin the ending for you. save one memory card for cheat and other without cheat. you will see two different ending

don't use cheats. playin the games without em makes it feel much more rewarding when you start to make serious progress. this is especially true with richly layered games like gta and mgs
