Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and if they were for some reason unavailable for getting me through such an ordeal as would be only listening to one band FOREVER, I'd go with the Beatles, with the same reluctance as I first chose Godpeed You! Black Emperor. That reluctance would after a few yers solidify into nostalgia, and that would itself strive to make its mark as suicide. I wouldn't let it though, cuz good thing is, I think Godspeed is gonna keep putting out records for quite some time to come, much unlike the Beatles.

That's a hard question, but I would definately have to say either Green Day or My Chemical Romance mainly because the lyrics are deep, especially with MCR.

The Clash their music was so varied punk, reggae, ska, rockabilly, world, jazz, and even early shades of hip hop. Different styles for different moods and situations. Very few bands can even come close, I actually can't even think of one.

The Beatles - never get tired of their songs. Whenever I'm sad or stressful, just listening to their songs cheered me up & my worries are gone (well, temporarily at least)

Boston Pops They play classical and popular music. So, I wouldn't have to listen to the same type of music all the time.
