Not at all. Consider the differences.

With powerball you just need one machine blowing little balls around. You only need to observe the results once, or count them once.

Elections are a little different. You have to set up thousands of polling stations, each one having different races like school board and councilman, deal with many thousands of idiots who can't figure out how to vote, then you have to count all the results, using various methods because there are many different methods of voting, including absentee.

Actually, I think your question is pretty dumb@ss.
