It's a tough word to spell, a tough word to say. I used to call them "Whores De Vores" and my family jokingly calls them "Horse Divvers." For the real pronunciation, check out the wiki article, but it's something like "Or durves."

you mean hors douvres?? Like something served at a wedding or occasion? Well that's how you spell it if it is what you mean. It can also be hor'deuvres
