There will be no World War 3. The terrorists have already become part of the population in every country in the world and will destroy our way of life to meet their ultimate goal of an Islamic world. The politically correct have already welcomed the terrorists into all parts of the world. You must be totally ignorant to not be aware that the term limits and new election process would proceed regardless of war.

Yes they would remove him. National security is handled by a multitude of people, not just the elected President. There is the Senate, House, Military Advisors, etc. If there was enough calm to have the election, then there is enough opportunity to replace him.

No he would not be allowed to stay in office for a third term under the constitution. Plus, Bush is the one to blame for a possible WW III.

If a true WW 3 broke out there wouldn't be a white house to return to. The powers in control would remain in control until elections could be carried out.

I believe during WWII there was an election. FDR won for a fouth term and soon after died.
(His 4th term was the reason for the 22nd Amendment)

We have had presidential elections during a world war before. If FDR would have lost in 1944, the Republican would have taken over in 1945.

A war doesn't stop elections.

Since you name Bush specifically in your scenario I say yes. Mostly because I think he would have been instrumental in starting WW III.
