The top UN humanitarian official wants cluster bombs banned. So, what would you ban in this world? I suspect many will say guns, some might say alcoholic drinks, cigarettes, et al.

Btw, regarding the example items, I am pro gun, so I would not ban them; anti alcoholic bevarages, but would not ban them; and have no strong position on cluster bombs.

Well alcohol it is for me....nearly every bad experience in my life has happened while the people who caused it were drinking....Nothing good comes from going out and getting hammered so what is the point? I watched a woman die after being hit as a pedestrian by a drunk driver....people fight, have unprotected sex and more....I know people do these things anyhow...but alcohol makes you less inhibited so you do it more often. Ban international of warcraft? your out of your techniques. do you realize how numerous a insurrection that would reason. 6 million human beings can do alot of injury. theres no way international of warcraft would ever get banned. thats like banning porn from the internet.

I would ban the act of banning anything. What is deplorable to one person, is a necessity to someone else. No one can say, with any degree of accuracy, that any one object should be banned.

Does it have to be materialistic or can it be an action? For objects it would be symbols of obvious hate( ie. the swastika, the burning cross, etc). For actions it would be hating/hurting others unnecessarily.
