Google Earth. Outstanding site and you can also see local landmarks. In some cases you can zoom in so close that you can see landmarks (Pyramids, great wall of china, Space Needle.)
It's a fun site to peruse.

depending on where u r, google earth is good. u can download the program from google for free, but if u want a really detailed package then go for the pro version. but the basic is great.
like i said, depends where u r in the world.
