Congratulations to the projected winners from The Democratic Party. I am so thrilled to see that the Democrats will take over the Congress.

Pardon me. Where do you get "the congress" from? I have seen a few projected democratic winners for the house of representatives, but that's it so far.

Congress consists of two houses, one of them being the senate. Try to keep your facts straight before you make such statements. Before you start blasting, I'm not a republican, however inaccurate statements should be put to rest.

It's still to early to tell, but it's certainly possible.

However, there is a silver lining. IF the Dems win the House and/or the Senate, they will start investigations and hearings. They just won't be able to help themselves. Soon they'll be investigating Iraq, Haliburton, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Tax cuts, energy policy, etc.

They'll also try and impeach the President. Again, they just won't be able to help themselves.

All of this will sour the voters completely from voting Democrat in 2008, and the GOP will sweep the Presidency, Senate and House.

What an amusing post since the first polls just closed 12 minutes ago and no votes have been counted yet.

Isn't it a little early to post a question like that? All of the votes haven't been counted yet.

I know what it's like. I was thrilled when republicans stormed both the house and senate back in 94.
