How can you find rare toys from the 80's ?

I know this is corny but my daughter has the new My Little Pony's. I would like to find the ones I used to play with in the 80's.

It's hard to find those, you can try yard sales. Check w/ Ebay, my friend buys all sorts of little doll items. You might find them there.
