This isn't WWII so quit trying to equate the 2! WE ATTACKED IRAQ!!

Nov. 7, 2006 — In the Democrats' quest to take over the House and even the Senate, they're hoping voters will echo a sentiment voiced so succinctly in the movie "Network" — "I'm fed up and not going to take it anymore."

Early exit polls show the majority of voters are fed up with the status quo. Six in 10 who cast their ballot today said they disapproved of the way President Bush was handling his job.

Paul Derby, a Virginia voter, is a Democrat's dream come true. "I guess I voted against the Iraq war. That was the main thing, and against the [Republican-controlled] Congress and the Senate both. I think they are both broke and need to be fixed."

The war in Iraq is on many voters' minds. ABC's preliminary exit polls found that nearly six in 10 voters disapproved of the war. Approval of the war was higher — at 51 percent — the last time the nation went to the polls two years ago and re-elected Bush to another term.

Well if the idiots who are running this war now had been in charge of WWII then we would be speaking German, Can you see the Neo-cons planning D-day. Eisenhower tells Bush " I need one million men for this mission" . Rummy tells Bush. No he does not. The Germans aren't going to fight us. They will just surrender and greet us as liberators. Of course they did but only after we had to beat them with one million men. Or Iwo Jima. I can hear them now. Iwo will be easy to take. No problem. Of course it would be impossible for Hitler to be the leader now. He would be long dead.

There were pacifists during WWII and there were plenty of people that didn't like FDR during WWII. Those things haven't changed.

Comparing Saddam to Hitler isn't much different than comparing Bush to Hitler. There aren't many similarities.

It was a sane democratic party then .And the media was not biased to the left. They would never spread the propaganda they do today. The mission was more clear then .But we need to have vision to see what is really going on. This war is just a first wave. If we do not fight now we will have to fight again and again.
