How many people have seen this?

Take three Aussie blokes, three backpacks, three passports and set them out
on the world.

Now there’s a recipe for the sweetest kind of disaster.
Meet Mick Middleton, James Grech and Lee Mahoney, three best pals, who came up with a twisted way to squeeze money out of the Australian media industry, via their travel programme, Backpackers.

They’ve decided to kiss their normal dreary, unemployed lives goodbye, and have taken it upon themselves to travel the globe, in search of the best backpacking holidays around.

The new Channel [V] series is an extended home video on an adrenaline rush.

Shot non-stop over 12 months with three cameras, and on over 27,000 minutes of video tap - it is possibly the most daringly honest and ambitious series undertaken on such a huge scale in Europe. The series follows the three friends from Melbourne, Australia, who venture into the unknown world of travel and misadventure.

I am an Australian but I have not seen this programme. I have Foxtel but I seldom watch Channel (V) and have not seen any trailers for this on the other channels - which you sometimes do.

I'm not Australian, so i haven't seen it, but, the way i look at it, if these three blokes turned their lives around, for the better, more power to them
