Gotta be Madge.

It's not so much the music, but the constant re-invention that I respect about the woman.
She's been bangin out hits for decades - how many other artists can say that?

Confessions on a Dancefloor really digs. ("o)

I grew up as a teenager in the 70's, so I have to say, Cat Stevens, & James Taylor. They had some of the best music I've ever heard. Their songs had stories to them, they sang about feelings & love, and "why" they loved, and so on. That is it in a nut shell.

Howard Moss.
If you've seen him playing live , you'll know why.
Versatile, great guitarist, very good originals, OK singer, blinding classic covers.
Also up there albeit larger entourage - Bruce Springsteen (gives 100% everytime)

Nirvana, Partly because of the amazing musical talent of grohl on the drums, novoselic on bass and Cobains' competant guitar playing/screaming vocals but also because like me kurt was from a broken home had issues like A.D.D. lived in abusive situations his father reportedly threw him across a room into a wall, yety despite being broken and flawed was able to make a mega success of himself even if he died because of it there was a moment were the ignorant of the world HAD to listen to one of us broken fucked up peasants.

Insane Clown Posse cause they have a lot of good songs, and don't suck like Eminem or Panic At The Disco.

Chicago. I love the sound of the horn section combined with the traditional rock sound. It is awesome!
