Ok here's the story...my last period was May 1st so based on that my calendar due date would be Feb. 5th. I've already had four sonograms (as early as 5 weeks and then 10 weeks 16 weeks and 20 weeks) and they all are putting my due date about a week ahead (around Jan. 29th). At my last doctors appt they said Im measuring four weeks ahead (of my Feb. 5th due date). They are sending me for another sonogram on Nov. 17th to see the size of the baby and everything. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them and if they ended up delivering early or not. I'm wondering what to expect at this point. Thanks.

In response to RH...you're right the baby will come when the baby is ready. I'm not worried what I'll do when it comes but I'm just wondeirng if other women have had a similar experiance..what's the harm in that? And it is important to know when you're so if you are having problems or go into labor early you can relate the proper information to the health care professionals. I hate how people just have to be d*cks about everything on this site.

They ( the drs) will probably just monitor you very closely now with ultrasounds to measure the baby to make sure he or she isnt too big for you to deliver. If you get closer to your due date and your still large they may induce you just to make sure the baby doesnt get too large for you to deliver safely. Good luck and keep in mind i measured BIG in the last 2 months but i gave birth to a happy healthy 6 lbs 1 oz baby girl... in premie clothes the first month of her life :) silly Drs.....

From the time I was 6 months pregnant, I was measuring of that of a woman carrying twins. My doctor even did extra ultrasounds to make sure I wasn't. I think everything will be fine, sometimes the baby grows faster than other times, even may be laying in a weird way to appear to increase the measurment.

Are you sure you aren't having twins? :)

hmmm... maybe they misjudged your due date. I delivered 4 weeks early and my baby was already 7lbs and 1 oz! Sometimes we wonder if they misjudged our date of conception.

Anyway, I hope you have a healthy pregnancy and good luck!
By the way, February 5 is my birthday :)

My friend had her due date moved from Dec 26th to Dec 12th with her ultrasound that ended up being at 24/26 weeks(I can't 100% remember).

Does it really matter when you are "due". The baby is going to be born, when it feels like it, not when you do.
You might deliver early, so if you need to arrange for childcare for older children, plan for any time in Jan. or Feb.
