Does it even have a 2 wheel drive is the real question. Come on a Cobalt? It only has one balt to hold it together let alone a co. Small little cars that run on rubber bands don't have 4 wheel options. You need a truck or an all wheel drive car. Although you are looking at Chevy's so your on the right track.

nope, it's only offered in front wheel drive, and it will probably stay that way because most four cylinders are always front wheel drive.

I hope that was a joke. Cars have front wheel drive, rear wheel drive or ALL wheel drive. I have never heard of one having 4x4. I don't know if a cobolt has all wheel drive or not but I think that is what you were going for ....
