Avoid sexual contact until you see s DR. (or use protection in the mean time) alot of times you would think its only one string but they are either stuck together or one is tucked away around your cervix

Believe me - they don't just fall out you will know it when you get it changed or removed - there is cramping involved. The string can be trimmed up - mine was real short so it didn't bother me - but it sure bothered my husband. Quit messing with it and let your body try to move the string back into place - tuck you stomach, arch your back - that kind of stuff - maybe the string will find it's way back to acomfort zone.

i would go to the emergency room if you tugged on the string and you actually feel the iud out of place it can cause some complications so go tot the emergency room nothing to be embaressed about im sure it has happened before

I have an IUD and if that happened to me I would demand to be seen sooner. You shouldn't have pulled on it. Sometimes mine feels like one string and it is just they are stuck together.

Good luck!!
