first
that happened to me too
but it was more like the opposite
i moved to another neighbor
and then he moved to another city for college
at first i tried to cheerish all the old moments
and craved for better times
but the truth it didnt turn out as i thought it would
for me my best friend is like a twin
so i dont want it to sound odd that i say that
but i felt bad i had no mate to open up
or to tell my problems too
and somehow he got changed and things werent so good
so all i am saying is
wether you expect that things wont remain the same
or that you know how to keep it up with ur friend
and neglecting even if she dont call as much as i call her
and please dont make the same mistake i did
as since then
i cant make new friends
and if i did
i just remind my self they wont be worse the trust
or wont be good enough

Make a scrap book for her.
Include old photos and all the inside jokes you can think of. At the end, write a letter to her telling her how much you love her.
My best friend and I did this for each other when she went away to college in another state.
We also made a list of things to do before she moved, like go on a road trip or finish a book for ourselves. That way, we had a whole bunch of new memories.

make sure that your friend sends you their address as soon as they know it(it helps to keep in touch) be sure you get their number as well. get together and if your friend doesn't have an e-mail address then set one up with her so that you can keep in touch for free. my friend recently moved away as well and i won't lie it is going to be tough but it also gives you a chance to get closer to other people that you don't know so well. just because your friend is moved away doesn't mean you have to lose contact. if possible invite your friend to activities and keep in touch...that's all you can do. i hope that helped.
