there are staions that are -2 and -1 station which means that the babys head is down and moving into the birth canal, it wont be long now!!!! 0 station means that the head is almost there and plus 1 and 2 means the head is out

The "station" refers to the level of the presenting part (in most cases, the baby's head) in relation to the ischial spines of the pelvis. When the presenting part is at the level of the ischial spines the baby is said to be at 0 station, or engaged. Levels above the ischial spines are minus stations, levels below the ischial spines are plus stations. Stations are measured in centimeters.

That means the baby has moved further down into the birth canal. It usually means it won't be too long til the birth of the baby
