also how come when you want to see a rated R movie and your under 18 you cant have one of your parents (over 21) show their I.D's and say its ok...

i dont know, i guess that want what is considered a REAL adult or something since you have to be 21 to drink why not apply the same thing to a stupid R movie, i know it makes no sense

I've never had a problem with that when I was younger. Maybe it's just the preference of the movie theater? When I was under 18 I was allowed to go to any rated R movie with my parents consent. I think they're just giving you a bunch of crap!

Well, where i come from you only have to be 17 to get into a rated R movie, but anyway its kinda stupid, kids are going to see the **** no matter what so why dont they just make some money and let them in, i really dont know their reasons.
