Oregon already has mail in ballots. With today's technology, the Internet is too open to hacking and fraud for online voting.

I think it would make for a higher turn out and if a small security fee is added for the vote, the cost of the saftey specific software to eliminate glitches would be covered, which would also disallow any hacking as no errors would be found in millions of code lines. It would be the best idea yet babe.

I don't know, there is such an uproar over using computerized ballots, to say nothing of the difficulties in proving elegibility and identity when voting on-line. Looks like a can of worms we do not want to open. ; )
Honestly, I don't think it would make a difference. It is really pretty easy to vote now, and people don't want to inconvenience themselves at all. The more we get, the more we want.

I think you have a good idea, but like the previous person, Hackers!. We the system that we have now, it already a big mess. Maybe we could go house to house and collect the votes?

Some people don't have computers. But it would be fun to have a independent concern do on line polling, and compare it to the real vote. I wonder if it would be anywhere close?

If that ever comes into fruition, I hope the security is top notch. Liberals will surely try to find a way to cheat online like they find ways to cheat the voting system now.

People are already freaking out about electronic voting machines, I cannot imagine the uprising if they offered voting online.

I think it will eventually happen, and turnout will be higher when it does because people will be able to vote from the comfort of their own homes.
