We have a Jersey /Fresian Cross House Cow that was milking real well, but she has had Mastitus awhile back ,got the vet in and she was cleared and fine afterwards, but back then her milk had a bad odour and it was yellow,we have done the Homoginising the same way since she started producing Milk and have had no problems.
Until ,just recently within the last couple of days, her Milk is white but goes off with in 24 hrs ,
And after the Homoginising this morning it went solid lumps and the milk seperated, it curdled.
Is it the Mastitus again,I ask because it is a different reaction from the last time she had it.

It sounds like it very well could be. The difference may be that you caught it a little earlier than before. Cows that do milk real well can have that problem regularly. It's very important to keep the milking and feeding time and care procedures to as close to the same time and as close to exactly the same as possible. The more consistent you are the less chances there is for mastitis to occur. Also, are you cleaning the udders real well with warm water?

Ring the vet and ask him. Keep milking it but discard the milk until it is all ok. This may have something to do with the medication if she was put on any. This could also be a secondary infection. Get the vet out again to have another look at her.

Sounds like it. I would have the vet come out and check her out again. And until then, to be safe, discard all the milk from her.
I know when one of my goats had mastitis, her udder was red, swollen and had a lumpy look/feel to it. Also, when I milked her, (by hand) the first few squirts would be thick yellowish plugs. She also had a reoccuring problem with it. And she also developed it each year she freshened..I stopped breeding her.

Sounds like it could be. Are any of the teats red/warm/swollen? Because that could be a sign again.
Anyhow, check with you vet, because it can recur, and the best way to stop it is to treat it!

If what is coming out of her teat is chunky.....then yes, it is mastitis!
