My nipples are really sore, not the breast itself, but just the nipples and the immediate area around the nipple, it hurts when i put pressure on it, is something wrong?

You probably have joggers nipple...been doing any running lately? Put some plasters over them before you run and dont wear a string vest! lol

It all depends on your age. If you are a preteen (ages 9-13) it is nothing to be nervous about. It is part of puberty and it is a symptom of simple growing pains. It is nothing to worry about and you don't really have to talk to a doctor unless you want to. I suggest that you talk to your Mom or an older sister or someone female whom you trust. There are also lots of preteen websites on-line that you could go to to ask questions and get the answers that you are wanting. Try your very best not to irritate the nipples. If you leave them alone they will eventually stop hurting. Just putting on some Aloe Lotion to stop the sting. If you are older than a preteen than I suggest that you talk to your doctor. I got pregnant and didn't know it. The ONLY symptom I had was very sore nipples. They sort of itched, but also ached and were really sensitive to clothing rubbing against them. If this is a possibility, I'd take a test.

This usually happens right around the time of your period. I wouldn't really worry about. If it persists more than a couple of days though, maybe you should speak with your doctor. good luck. it's normal.

your probably just developing the ablity to have your nipples get har when you get excited. thats what my mom told me when that happend to me. it hurts but it will stop soon. dont pick on them or anything like that though. thats no good.

lol it even happen to me twice...i guess the sun burned my nipples trough the shirt ....very awfull feeling.....if you are not wearing a bra and have been outside in the sun wearing a light shirt it might have hape to you too

Sounds like they are just growing. You might be getting your period soon..... stuff the guys do not have to worry about!

This usually happens to me right before I start my period. Don't worry about it, but if it does persist and you don't start your period then I would tell your mom and go see a doctor. =]

Maybe you are about to start your period. That always happens to my friend a few days before she starts.

Its perfectly normal. They may be growing or your menstrual cycle may come soon.
