Sounds like you might need a belt, as much as you might hate wearing them.
Try finding jeans without alot of stretch in them, that way what it feels like when you put it on will be closer what what it fits like later on in the day. The more stretch mixed with your jean, the more they stretch throughout the day.
Also, lesser quality jeans will stretch more, so spring the extra bucks for a good sturdy pair.

It's why belts were invented. Either wear a belt or get your jeans fitted so that they aren't too tight in the legs or too loose in the waist. If you don't want to do either of those suggestions the only left to do is to shop for the perfect pair of jeans that fit you. Once you find those you can always return to the brand and never have to worry abou this issue again.
Good luck!

I hear ya !!! I hate belts too but had to go to one... Plus I did find some size 8's that fit differently so they are tighter on the waste and stay up with out that belt!
I went to europe and found some fabulous jeans that fit the legs, waist and butt! It was fabulous so I got 7 pair!!!!
They make jeans different there for people like me with no butt! lol
Do go shopping and try on size 8 from MANY different brands !! Believe me they will all vary in size and you might just find the coolest pair!!
Good luck you skinny young thang! : )

If you find a pair of jeans like that you should first try to fix it by wearing a belt....and if that doesnt work, you can always go to a tailor and have the waist taken in!

I have the same problem...I actually have Gap jeans in THREE sizes (same fit!). One falls off, one falls off after about 2hrs of wearing them, and one is really tight. However, the Cassidy fit from the Limited fits great. It hasn't happened with them yet. You should try them- they often go on sale for like 25 bucks. (and no, I don't work there!:) )

You should wear skirts with elastic waists. That would solve the problem because then the bottom part could be full and the top could be fitted. Otherwise... you'll probably need a belt. But skirts are more flattering to your figure anyway. They generally hide 'bad' facts about large thighs and such.

You probably need to lose weight to fit in a size 8 or gain weight around your waist area

Take in the waist a little bit. If you're not good at sewing and don't care enough to get them professionally altered, just pinch a bit in the back and use a safety pin to take it in for the day.

I have this same problem! It's because I have such a small butt that my pants are constantly falling down. Try a mid-rise jean, Low rise just seems to plague girls like us.
